About Our Group
Welcome! Concerned Pleasanton residents organized a group to oppose Measure PP, which asks Pleasanton voters to increase our sales tax burden from 10.25% to 10.75%, the highest in the State.
The City failed us all by not providing transparent and fact-based leadership about our city's finances. Pleasanton residents have lost trust in City leadership because they have not been truthful--about water rate hikes previously and now a 1/2 cent sales tax increase. If Measure PP passes, we will be paying 10.75% in sales tax, the highest in the State.

Please join us in voting No on Measure PP this November and demand the City convene a budget task force, similar to what the school district is currently going through, and do the necessary work to produce a proper and fully-vetted budget that doesn't threaten to cut what we care about most.
